If you have a business you run and some money to spare for the advertisements, Do not put your money in a Billboard Near that Busiest street of your city. Giving an AD in the most popular TV channel may not work either.

Today, you guys are together after long and think a movie together would be a great way to feel cozy. The tickets were all booked and u decided,’let us just see a nice movie in our own TV’

But yeah, U r gonna be back for the movie. It is still the “cozy time” together.

‘How much of those Advertisements have you watched?!’
You get that?! None of the audience of your most popular television channel is going to see your advertisement.
Nope.
“What do I do then?”
Tell me what were they doing while ignoring your advertisement on the television.
Ah, That’s right.
“Social Networks”
If your are trying to make a business in the modern age, I suggest you make an effort to ‘improve’ your presence in the social networking sites.
So the 500 bucks you saved up to make the Ad for the television goes for promoting your page in Facebook.
“But, The billboards?”
Stop reading the blog; Get outside; Walk to the nearest shop u find. Watch all the people you find on your way. Now tell me, How many of the people you saw, weren’t looking at their phone.
People are not looking at billboards anymore. They are looking at their phones.

Do you think the whole ‘self driving car’ thing of Google going to give time for people to look at your billboards..?!
No!!! They are going to be working or eating. No, They are not going to be reading every poster they cross on their way to work.
It is time that people rethink and restructure their approach towards advertisement. Just like the likeliness of people reading your handout in a festival or a gala reduced over the years, The advertisements in television is no more a good idea.
